For Episode 11 I will be discussing why many leave guilds or what would make them leave a guild.

With soooo many guilds out there to choose from, how do you know when it is time to call it quits and find another one?

What makes you quit a guild or why have you quit one in the past?

I have had to leave a few guilds in my time playing and all for reasons I felt were valid.

My first guild I have ever played in and I loved I had to quit because the GL was telling us members who in-game we were allowed to talk too. Another time I had to leave a guild was because the GL left the game and the guild in limbo…. and another time I had left because it felt like the members were just numbers and no one talked or played together.

If you are married or in a relationship, how do you balance WOW within that relationship? Can you? Do you? Have you? Have you experienced turbulence by playing or has it brought you closer by playing together?

I have seen it bring couples closer together by having something in common to share with each other and I have also seen it drive a wedge between to people when it became an addiction. I tend to be more of an eye for an eye individual, so if my significant other has a hobby they like to do, we “bank” hobby time to make sure each person gets to do what they like to do without causing a need to fight over it.

What are your thoughts or experiences?

You logged into WOW the first time?

In my case, it was my first MMORPG. I had played many many Console and PC games, but never one that included the integration of other players. I remember thinking it was absolutely amazing seeing other players running around with me in real time! I remember the amazing feeling I felt when I was able to roam around in a world with barely any boundaries and where I could roam free to explore and often aggro-ed mobs way above my toons level not knowing until later on I was mastering the art of the pain train. One of the most amazing memories I had was when my Guild Leader at the time took me on her Giant Mammoth mount and we went exploring the high level areas to get me flight paths. I was soooooo amazed when we strolled into the Un’goro Crater. It was so cool to me to be around these huge dinosaurs and flying insects, knowing that at anytime I could be their lunch if I got too close. I have not lost this feeling or thrill each time we get a new expansion, and I hope I never will!

What is your first or fondest memory or experience of the first time stepping into Azeroth?

NOTE : I said RP not ERP

I have attended some amazing RP events that have really united a server and a community. It was what made me look at this game as much more than a game. When you see someone experience a real life loss and those they knew and those they had never have met, united to help lift them up and get through it in-game, it was honestly amazing!

I find it really cool to know that within this game, there is yet an entirely unique world thriving. People hold Wedding Ceremonies, throw parties,  meet for epic battles against their foes,  put on costume parties, transmog contests and catwalks in Azeroth. This game is what you make of it. You can choose to be bored and wait for the next patch or you can step out of your box and take this game into another direction entirely and be pleasantly surprised!
